
DOXIE CLOUD SERVICE AGREEMENT
Service Access Agreement
This is a legal agreement between you and Apparent Corporation, a North Carolina corporation located in the United States of America, covering your use of the Doxie Cloud Online Hosting Service (the "Service"). By accessing and using the Doxie Cloud service, you agree to the terms set in this agreement. BY ACCESSING OR UTILIZING THE SERVICE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE, ACCESS, OR PUBLISH DATA TO THE SERVICE.
- Service is provided free of charge at the discretion of Apparent Corporation.
- Service may only be used by legally licensed Doxie owners.
- Service can be discontinued or changed at any time, for any reason.
- Service is provided with no warranty or direction for use for any particular purpose.
- Service is for personal use only, and is subject to reasonable use policies.
- Service is for human-controlled access: "robots" and other such automated software cannot be used to access the Service.
Apparent Corporation reserves to the right to discontinue service to anyone at its discretion or remove content, for any reason or no reason. Apparent Corporation retains all rights not expressly granted by this Agreement.
You agree not to maliciously or intentionally interfere with the proper operation of the Doxie Cloud system, including but not limited to defeating identification procedures, obtaining access beyond that which you are authorized for, and impairing the availability, reliability, or quality of service for other customers.
Privacy Statement
By publishing data to the Doxie Cloud service, you understand that the information published will be made available to the general public on the Internet. Apparent Corporation serves as hosting provider for this data – you are entirely responsible for the content. Apparent Corporation does not use collected information about the records that you upload to the Apparent Corporation service for any reason other than to provide a hosting service – we will not resell or reuse your data without your express permission for any other uses than clearly defined in the privacy notice and service access agreement, except where required by law.
We do not publish a list of published documents – others will only be able to access your published information if they know or guess your document's URL.
