How to make a paper star:
Step 1
Take a sheet of paper in landscape orientation and fold in half horizontally
Step 2
Fold in half again to create a crease. Unfold the fold you just made
Step 3
Fold the upper left corner to meet the crease at the bottom center (marked in yellow)
Step 4
Fold the triangular area in the lower left upwards, over the top layer
Step 5
Fold the bottom upwards to meet the upper left edge
Step 6
Starting with the corner marked in yellow, draw a straight line to the bottom left edge.
Depending on how far left or right you angle the line, it'll make star have thinner or thicker points
Step 7
Cut away the portion to the right of the line
Step 8
Gently unfold the paper
Step 9
And now you have a star!
